Swung / Swing Rhythm – Jazz rhythm where notes are performed with unequal durations.

Tala (Indian) – Rhythmic pattern in Indian music.

Keteg, gongan – Rhythmic units found in Gamelan music.

Clave – The distinctive two bar rhythmic pattern found in salsa (son) music.
